(b) Internal hardware components, cost, image and function

  • CPU
This is the CPU that I selected is the AMD Opteron 6136 240GHz Eight Core Socket G34 115W TDP it's cost is AU $979.76, it's used to process all the information.
  • Motherboard
This is the Motherboard that I selected is the KGPE-D16 2x Socket G34 / LGA1944 2xQ-DDR3 PCIe it's cost is AU $738.08, it's used to interconnect all the components.
  • RAM
This is the RAM that I selected is the HP 8GB PC3 1x8GB DDR3 MEMORY 500662-B21 it's cost is AU $260.00, it's used to store the data to and from the process for the CPU Volatil.
  •  Hard Drive
This is the Hard Drive that I selected is the Hitachi Ultrastar C10K600 600GB 2.5" SAS 64MB (0B25851) it's cost is AU $546.64, it's used to store the data non-volatile.

  • Optical Drives
This is the Optical Drives that I selected is the Sony BWU-500S Internal 12x Blu-ray SATA Disc Writer it's cost is AU $238.61, it's used to read and store data.
  • Video Card
This is the Video Card that I selected is the NVIDIA QUADRO FX4800 1.5GB PCIe it's cost is AU $1,200.00, it's used to process the image data.
